This is what I mean in my material, Wyatt Earp would have been the Sheriff while my family was the train conductor on the rail road.
They say Wyatt Earp who lived until 1929 in the old days took the law into his own hands gun fighting and collecting money from criminals that I assume went to run the town, then they made their own money doing that and later went into casino's or something.
People in my family used to say all those old gun fighters when they died in the early 1900's were screaming and crying on their death beds with their guts burning out from their nerves going from gun fighting, then they were still trying to resolve their fights as old men.
