In these early train clips you can see modern patents being developed like the Street Lights.
Just stop for a minute though....Thomas Edison invented the light bulb and was also around the video camera and train system / ice clearing saws.
So where did Thomas Edison get the idea for the light bulb?
This is super important and could be from working around rail road development....it is probably a lantern with a welding rod in it for the filament.
Edison probably invented the filament for the light bulb from watching the hot steel melt on the welding rod...or something similar to this.
He took the welding rod and cooled down the reaction to make it barely hot for the light bulb filament and then placed it inside a traditional lantern.
So he probably made that from working around steel production and the rail road.
These videos show the development of the early street lights...at the time that these videos were filmed the street lights used to be men holding flags to alert the citizens of the train...then this was switched to colored lights after Edison invented the light bulb.
Not only that, they show the ice clearing clip again on this video....
Why were the 1900's so dirty?
The answer...soot.
Soot from the trains made the air in the 1900's extremely dirty as all the trains were steam powered...the steam came from water which was heated by burning coal.
The result was soot, you can see on the video the large amount of soot that was produced from the train, so back then in the 1900's there would have been a ton of soot from burning coal in the air and the planet was extremely dirty.
All that has been taken out and the world is a lot cleaner today....clearly the 1900's would have been the dirtiest century in recorded history because of the large amounts of soot that had been dumped into the atmosphere from the invention of the coal powered steam engine for trains, commercial productions and power plants.
This is what makes me mad about today...the lack of advancement with scientific knowledge.
Back then as soon as an idea was discovered it was implemented...at a rate of unprecedented scientific achievement.
Today that has stopped and they do nothing...all the modern inventions have not been acknowledged and not implemented by today's failed generations who run the government, unlike in Edison's time when they were implemented at their discovery date.
