HALIFAX: Halloween CBC Radio Broadcast Says Social Media Failed Because Of User Deaths

A an interview with social media staff from New York and Chicago have revealed that "social media" networks failed because of user and staff deaths in social media.

The show was about "digital assets" of deceased people on the internet...that have value.

The example was social media threads for promoting products etc. on Facebook / Twitter were ruined after the past twenty years or whatever because the person's family had their digital assets removed and now the threads / topics on social media and message boards have lost their meaning because the threads of the deceased have been removed.

So they mean on CBC New York and Chicago that the internet threads and content failed, which is probably where there is no content on there right now,  because the people who worked in social media who died...their material was deleted by their family and now the pages have no meaning and you can't follow the threads.

Like old help pages, story threads etc. now have so much stuff missing on them now because of that the pages are unreadable.
