This 2021 season the New York Yankees continue to maintain their overall division standings of in the top three places in the AL East probably permanently, that's why we're just promoting AL East related now, with everything else covered as necessary.
Sports are too big now, we're just playing for third.
The new chant will be "we're third place, we're third place" because a major league sports team can never give up their permanent third place location.
New York Yankees, did great last year in the AL East Division and made some progress towards building a World Champion Team in the larger division, the games they play while not at home in the AL East...still need to work on their overall stats around standout key stat leaders on the team if they want to keep winning the AL East and become a World Contender.
Meanwhile down in Florida former Yankees have begun to build up their team in the National League the Miami Marlins with Yankee Star Derek Jeter CEO, Don Mattingly Manager and Pitching Coach Mel Stottlemyre Jr.
Come on, that's just the old Yankees dug out from 1989 - 2001, now the Team Captain is the CEO.
Now we got some old time baseball coming in with some cheating scandals and all that and I heard players are using extra hand signals like back when the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series and then packed up with the money and moved to LA to make that team.
What did they do that with...a secret hand signal book for on the field cheating, touching each other on the back and stuff in a secret code on the field like back in the 1950's?
Then the Dodgers bought the LA Market with the New York winning team and relocated, giving the New York Yankees the whole Brooklyn Market along with the new team the Mets.
If you follow baseball everyone knows that if you want to win you have to win in the division, I mean if you're a fan never give up your third place team.
You gotta hold that forever just so the other guy can't have it, "We're third place, we're third place" they'll all be saying.
Like this, right out of the gates in the 2021 Season they got New York vs Toronto for the AL East spot and they made Tampa Bay in the same division the AL East play the Marlins...the new National League Yankees player team with Derek Jeter.
Come on, New York could have swept Toronto while the Marlins took down Tampa Bay playing on the road out of their division giving the Yankees a huge start to the season...I didn't read all the numbers yet so after I view the tape I'll post and see how it went.
Remember, you have to play like it's the World Series for every stolen base when you're playing for the division because there are only five teams.
I'm looking for big things coming down in Miami with the Marlins who are by the way are already a two time World Championship Team anyway.
