It turns out that Uncle Phil the Judge took Will's money when he got in trouble with a gang rapping up in Detroit or New York or somewhere.
So the money's coming from New York from Will rapping and Uncle Phil the Judge got Will on some charge and took his money, then he made him move to Bel Air to be a big College Basketball star while he runs the mansion.
