I mean, the Smartphone history that I can think of dates back what twenty years?
$2000 for a tiny computer that fits in your pocket with a phone on it.
Drawback, open source code leads to phone hacks.
Benefits, cheap plans today if you buy your own phone.
The final point...
Back years ago these would have been sold as a phone kit you build yourself in a box on free wifi if they had that then, with open source code.
So that's what it is.
Releasing the smart phone as a commercial product and not a Radio Shack Kit was a total failure.
I mean, in a disaster no free internet.
This phone doesn't work free on the internet during a disaster like earthquake or hurricane.
No LAN cable on phones / tablets (?)
No new Laptop "SD Card System" that hold 2 terrabyte hard drive on USB 3 Thumb Drive Plug
No memory to hold video files.
No wi fi internet on these devices when communications boxes causing static on power lines.
That was probably the ultimate failure of smartphones and tables - no LAN Cable.
Now all customers want their money back.
What will happen...
These phones will probably be sold at around $500 with no plans and FREE Open Source 5G Network to Citizens for public repayment on open sim card with real phone number you can buy for $10 then all service will be free phone and internet on that, with minimum bill to keep the number.
Laptops to be converted to 5G / LAN Cable System.
As part of the customer re-payment from the phone company / government , then all smartphones and laptops will be free roaming internet and then you need to buy you own phone number cheap on an open sim card.
Then there is no phone bill or internet bill.
