Now this conversation is going around...
Visit our page - The History Of Death Metal - www.deathmetal.ca
We have the history written there, from actually being there when the music came out.
I already wrote about this on this blog, yeah well he said the band from Florida...that's where he lives.
Let's get down to this, both records fucking suck then.
Really though, both of them never did anything long term but I like them for their artistic value of being made at all.
Possessed - Seven Churches is the better record, I wrote all about this on this blog.
Death - Scream Bloody Gore is the first real Death Metal record but they failed and the whole thing never happened...like Sony made all that for the market heading into the early 1990's and it bombed bad and they dropped it, the guy even said he wished he never did it.
He went up to Toronto and played with the thrash band Slaughter and their first record was good - now I only think it was because Death played on it, then he copied Possessed and he even said he was copying their vocals to them.
Then they failed on all their tours, couldn't play and the guy from Possessed got shot over all that.
Like drug dealing and stuff around Death and them.
The point, those are studio albums if you like hearing what they were making...I don't mind them but they never went anywhere, Death was a total failure in business in music and Possessed never even did anything.
That might have been a big deal those records in the early days of Thrash Metal but not today, everyone of them failed in the short term longer picture from looking back today.
You now what else, that group of people was also the ones flaming me in LA Weekly (from around Death and Slaughter some of them)...on the internet and at my house sending me death threats and stuff back in 2012 from that pyramid scam and I banned them all form me.
Right to me face from their record label office from Season Of Mist Records and Preserverance Holdings Death 's "label".
Anyway, they all got caught.
Pathetic.
