These two V/A Compilation Albums "K-Tel Masters Of Metal 1" & "K-Tel Masters Of Metal 2" are the television advertised that launched heavy metal in the 1980's on the Commercial Disco Label K-Tel International.
This was the television launch of bands like Iron Maiden and Accept.
K-Tel owns the performances on the tapes for television, that's what made Iron Maiden big, that they were launched by K-Tel Disco.
The other Heavy Metal has never been larger than that making the K-Tel performance the official owner of all un printed albums in the category because the current value has never been larger than the K-Tel launch that made the "Heavy Metal" category from "Disco" on K-Tel.
The main K-Tel metal bands were then released on other major labels after K-Tel launched Ozzy, Black Sabbath and Metallica off the K-Tel / Banzai Records Tours in 1985.
Metallica went with Ozzy and Venom was dropped making it the top band of the dropped list from K-Tel.
All other artists appeared on "V/A - Banzai Axe" who were dropped after Metallica signed with Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
