Back to my getting extensive biography and more about the Sampson Train and my family's land grants...I just want to note that Echelon the Government monitoring system probably records all blogs on the internet so blogging is a good way to leave your historical mark in the history books...like if they ever look these topics up, this would be my log entries.
Returning to the story about the Sampson Train and the land Grants....
My grandmother ran the "orphanage" adopting kids in New Glasgow with her mother in law the train conductors wife from the Sampson, the mate's to the train are in the Smithsonian.
This is also an interesting note, in New Glasgow my grandmother and probably her mother in law worked at the original Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow which was Hospital Avenue back then across the street from the Orphanage area at the coal repository by the Albion Mine Train Tracks.
She said they tore the hospital down and moved it to East River Road in New Glasgow because rats were biting the babies in the old one where she worked, this just leads me to think more about the adoptions because of the hospital where she worked.
I looked up my family tree on the internet and it's all messed up but also correct, I tried to talk to the people on the page a while back and this is what they said from the Cole Harbour Area in Dartmouth from the family tree page, along side with the people from New Glasgow who flamed me and they also live in that same area and the North End of Halifax...so this gets worse.
Anyway, I think they are from the other side of the adoption people...not my actual family.
Right to my face they go...."All your grandmother's family is dead...no one is alive, everyone else is other families and you have no relatives from her. Most of the people in the Valley are related to you in New Ross, don't ask the girls out there because it may be your sister. I'm heading south on vacation so it my be too inconvenient to go across the road to meet you at Christmas for a coffee at a family get together."
Then they added...
"If you want to find out about your family, call this person....they used to be in your family but are now divorced but can tell you what happened to it."
So I laughed in their face and ignored them because they are the people from New Glasgow, The North End Halifax and also Cole Harbour area...a bunch of them.
I also knew that none of this was true and had to block them on the internet, and they tried to start whipping me around the area when I told them about my degrees. from St.FX..then tried to act right rich to me in a scam. Watch out for that on Family Tree pages, that happened to me a couple years back. Plus they claimed to be local business people in the area.
Anyway, if they come back which they didn't I'm pressing charges.
