SPORTS: Yankees Controversy Looming?

Just watching the Yankees opening game...the Blue Jays are wearing their old retro uniforms signaling the return of the Expos hopefully.

They are promoting on the game "Opening Day 1996" starting this Spring Training Season with Paul O'Neil playing on opening day in 1996 in the big snow storm in New York City...that was Derek Jeter's first Season with the Yankees and they won the World Series.

So that was a big year for Paul O'Neil who has his own broadcast on their now from a remote location on the Yes Network and he says he's selling shirts and stuff with their logo on it.

Now they are showing this flash back Paul O'Neil stuff from back in his High School and College years.

Listen to this gossip...Paul O'Neil says he still talks to all his old team mates and stuff from back then.

So I don't know anything about that situation....like what if he stops talking to one of them, does the rest of the group hate him or side with him?

That's the kind of crazy shit that happened with me in the past, like what if they are just still hanging around from all those years ago because he's getting money form the Yankees.

Or maybe they are maybe financially backing him or something, I don't know tho.

Like is he carrying them people or what?

That is a very dangerous situation from a counselor perspective, dragging people along with you now that you are rich or a big star...I mean, they could be just hanging off you looking for money.

This can lead to infighting in the group if the leader Paul O'Neil in this case decides to cut someone out.

Like are they only friends with him because he is on the Yankees or what?

I'm just saying because it's not a normal situation and no one else has that stuff in their regular life, like they could be just hanging around bumming off the Yankees, those are my first impressions.

Hopefully Paul O'Neil is professional enough that he is set up on his own in New York that if something happened with his old High School group that he wouldn't be affected.

Like if something happened with the old group of team mates from before the Yankees, because that is a potential crisis they are talking about on the show. 

What Paul O'Neil need to do to avoid all that is to make sure he has all his business covered private before he includes his old friends in it, incase they all turned on him if he got too rich or something and created some controversy he's be  covered in advance.
