RE: Leaked Hasbro Dungeons & Dragons Playtest

Comicbook.com released a 2022 Hasbro Dugeons & Dragons playtest linked to the Wizards Of The Coast file server on the public page with one page stamped 2021 to maybe leak it on the page.

The playtest...which says is an internal document and stamped "do not distribute" is a rules updated for "Unearthed Arcana" with NO weapon power in the book for the official game.

The playtest said if the material gets added to Dungeons & Dragons the power levels will be reset to match the official game release material.

The new book is "The Path Of The Giants" where several characters recieve new features and feats to play as higher characters, up to ability score level 25 I assume.

According to the document new Dungeons & Dragons Books may include:

"Barbarian: The Path Of The Giant", "Druid: Circle Of The Primeval" and "Wizard: Runecrafter".

In the new rules "Druid -Circle Of The Primeeval" Druids can summon a "primeval companion" which is a monster they can control in the game.

In "Wizard  - Runecrafter" wizards can now use "runes" to enhance magic items and probably spells I assume to create "varied spell and magic item results".

That is for fighting on the higher level of "Unearthed Arcana" in the Giant Realm, as the characters progress from the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse they now get the "Monsters Of The Multiverse" rule book for future settings coming later this year included new Spelljammer and Dragonlance Adventures.

This preview of the Giant Realm may mean Unearthed Arcana adventures in Spelljammer and Dragonlance later this year with these new "Monsters Of The Multiverse" features heading into the 6E Release in 2024.

Now you will be able to play as Monsters in the new Spelljammer and Dragonlance later this year and characters like in "Barbarian - The Path Of The Giant" will transition into a giant from a regular character and can turn into a monster in the game as they progress and adopt "elemental" and "giant forces" such as giant power, fire and wind resistance.
