Dungeons & Dragons has removed character bonuses from the "character race" section to the "character background" section.
Like in "Unearthed Arcana 2022" Playtest.
The "character race bonuses" has been moved to the "character background section" for example the Wizard "Magic-User" now gets a bonus for his character's background, not his race.
Meaning...character background bonuses can be applied to any character NOT JUST SOME.
To add bonuses to your character in the new Dungeons & Dragons read the STORYLINE books like "Tasha's Cauldron Of Everything" and "Xanathar's Guide To Everything".
Choosing a background for your character from these books gives your character a bonus, select this for any player race in the game.

....like that, like if you're taking a class or something....that's how you promote something that that when you get it on D20.
