Housing Density means more units per square foot, with decreased lost size to meet demand for smaller lots with taller buildings.
Halifax is only full of split level homes with downstairs bedrooms, some kind of pre fab from the 1950's with the population living cramped while single dwelling residents are squadding in old one floor worthless houses.

Demand for parking means new larger metro park garages to remove the need for parking at new apartment buildings because the space is already avaialble.
