The American Civil War you could say was a second American Revolution, this time against the North in the Thirteen Colonies who stripped the Confederate States in the South of their rights to slavery given to them by England in the Thirteen Colonies.
Under the Second American Revolution, known as the American Civil War, the Confederate South sided with England's grant to them of plantations that they were allowed to keep after the first American Revolution.
In the Country of Nova Scotia at that time we had banished French Acadians to the South which became members of the Confederate States of the South and rebelled against the North for stripping them of their renaming tithes from the King Of England.
Wanting to remain partly connected to England the South Rebelled to maintain their land rights to slavery from the King Of England which they lost.
In Nova Scotia you can understand although we are the North why the Confederate States would rebel against the North in the United States.
The South had received many citizens from the Country Of Nova Scotia known as the Cajuns today, and had also taken in British Loyalists in the Thirteen Colonies after their defeat in the First American Revolution and possibly the Second Revolution the American Civil War.
After the South lost their Confederation to the United States in 1865, Canada Confederated and most likely took in many citizens from the South Confederates to the Country Of Nova Scotia after the war as they did in the previous revolution.
As you can see Nova Scotia has a deep connection to the South Confederate States and you can understand that these people were not traitors to the United States specifically but Loyalists to Nova Scotia and England.
Although I am the North, I can understand the cause of the South Confederate States as we are opposed today from the same forces in Ottawa in the Union Of Canada who are stripping us of our Country and our tithes from England.
My side here in the North is the Thirteen Colonies in the United States but I can understand why people like me would side with the South Confederates in the United States against Ottawa today as we face similar oppression here in Atlantic Canada from this so called Ottawa Government.
Taking down statues of people like General Lee and General Grant in the United States today is similarly appalling as it would have been in 1860 in the United States like it is here in Halifax today to see Lord Cornwallis' and John A. MacDonald Statue's defaced as we lose our Canadian Union here in Nova Scotia today.
