Halifax Downtown Hospital & Shopping Expansion

I have a few quick updates today but I have been busy doing other stuff for the last couple weeks, this is response to the following news article:

When downtown Halifax is expanded this is what will happen Hospitals, Shopping and Parks will all be expanded, roads will be widened and slums demolished.

I have color coded the expansion areas on this map, as a note when the areas are plowed all landmarks will be preserved and some business areas like obvious shopping areas etc, only the houses and garbage will be removed, Spring Garden Road Shopping will be expanded into Gottingen Street and all homeless people areas will be demolished.

Green areas are the new park and grass areas, historical buildings and main large shopping buildings will be preserved.

Red is the Hospital Expansion area for the IWK Children's Hospital, Maternity Hospital and Victoria General Hospital into the Dalhousie Medical School area, all houses will be plowed and landmarks preserved.

Blue is Robie Street heading into Halifax from the MacKay Bridge which will be widened to account for new traffic heading into the new expanded Hospital Area which will now be on both sides of the street and connected to Dalhouse Medical School and St. Mary's University which is I think further down on the blue road.

Yellow is the Spring Garden Road Shopping Area which comes down past Dalhousie University at the Medical School and cuts through the new expanded Hospital Area, Spring Garden Road will then be extended around the commons and then cut past the Scotiabank Center near McDonalds and Continue up past Police Headquarters and then connect into Gottingen Street which will then become an extension of the Spring Garden Road Shopping Area.
