MUSIC: What Is Ice T Talking About On Thier New Record

Here is good question I was recently asked, what is Ice T referring to on the new Body Count record?

I did not know the answer they mean the song "You Can't Stop The Bum Rush".

This is what I took from the record just based on their artistic impressions in their lyrics and videos.

The answer, which seemed to please them, is the black right to vote in the United States and when did that happen.

That seems to be the material they are getting at, the answer is this...1870 under the United States 15th Constitutional Amendment as an outcome of the American Civil War which ended in 1865.

Under the amendment, which passed by people like Abraham Lincoln, John A. MacDonald and Queen Victoria from England by through their roles in the war from the North, allowed not just blacks to vote but all races in the United States.

Women were partially granted in 1920 under the 19th United States Constitutional Amendment.
