How To Apply For The Emergency Funding & GST Credits

Use this method to file for the Canada Emergency Benefits Cheque OR apply for GST Rebates if you have not files your taxes.

Fill out your taxes on on a web service that submits your tax return automatically to the Federal Government. You can do this for free over the internet with your government tax slip.

Make sure to choose to register online for a CRA Account.

If you didn't get an extra gst rebate because you didn't file last years taxes this is the fastest way to get your retroactive money.

You will get a notice of confirmation from the internet tax form pages when you file your income tax.

Go to the Canada CRA Website:

You now have to login with you BANK CARD INFORMATION.

Register and then sign up with the CRA to add your bank debit card to you CRA account.

So you login to the CRA page with your online back account information using your bank as an affiliate.

Then you will get a confirmation code mailed in five days.

The code will unlock the rest of the CRA page features.

Here you can automatically apply for Emergency Funding through the CRA using your online bank account and then get refunds and credits direct deposited to the account from the CRA.

On this page it will show you all your upcoming GST credits and payments in a list.

When I looked it only had my current and past payment information but it is supposed to show future deposits but July is not listed yet and I don't see anything for May but I don't understand the full menu yet.

You can also track and pay your taxes through the page with your bank account.

So if you file your taxes now online you can see what your rebate will be like if you didn't file last years and need the new funding, when your application is finished your payment schedule is supposed to show up on the page as soon as they do your taxes, then you will know you payment dates.
