CHL & Atlantic University Sports Summer Update 2019

Sorry for the delay, I have to update my CHL and AUS (Atlantic University Sports) material with the latest updates before next season starts in a couple weeks with back to school and university. I was busy this summer running around and working on my band and business stuff and forgot to do my University Football and Minor League Hockey Updates.

Headline: Come Off It!

Everyone should be super gagged at this....the news didn't cover the Atlantic University Football Championship! There's no articles on it on the internet that I could find not even on CTV, Global or fail for the news.

I had to dig up the University Football stats to get all the results:

The winner of the Football Championship according to the stats page was my University - St. Francis Xavier University which beat my new local team the St. Mary's Huskies in the Championship, on the sports page it says St.FX is the Defending Champion this year - not covered on the news on the internet. Come off it.

However St. Mary's finished in first place but lost to St. FX in final:

2018-2019 - WINNER:

St. Francis Xavier University:

The CHL Memorial Cup (The NHL Minor Leagues) Championship was in Halifax this year, I went down but it was pretty intense like they were all studying or something, like it was super quiet down town during that. They are all students and stuff trying to get in the NHL and stuff so their was no big party, *mental note: next time leave Jack Daniels bottle at home.

Halifax LOST the Championship, the winner was the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies from the Quebec CHL Minor Hockey League.

MEMORIAL CUP LOSER: Halifax Mooseheads:

MEMORIAL CUP WINNER: Rouyn-Noranda Huskies

71 Players from the CHL were drafted into the NHL this Season including 13 First Round NHL Draft Picks. None were from the Memorial Cup final.

Raphael Lavoie of the Halifax Mooseheads was picked in the second round NHL draft by the Edmonton Oilers and I think is listed on their minor league team the Oil Kings.
